15Rock announces support for climate relief efforts

15Rock commits a large portion of profits towards supporting climate refugees

I know I speak for everyone at 15Rock in expressing our concern for all of those affected by climate change. With each new image of families fleeing their homes and untold suffering as environments change quicker than many societies' ability to adapt to them, we see how important it is for people worldwide to come together to support the adaptation of climate change.

15Rock is fully committed and believes that climate change is mitigation, but as we work towards stabilizing our planet's climate, we will need to support those in need.

I'm proud to announce that the board has agreed that 15Rock will be donating 20% of our profits to UN refugee relief efforts and providing aid for the unfolding refugee crisis. We are also working with partners to assess what more we can do. Based on our current forecasts, we expect this to be approximately $10M USD/year over the next three years.

To help further amplify the impact, 15Rock will match eligible employee donations at a rate of 5:1, and we will make this retroactive for contributions since Jan 1 this year.

The UN Refugee agency among many things does the following:

UNHCR work to protect the most vulnerable.

UNHCR  provide shelter to those who need it most.

Advocacy helps to transform policies and services that affect displaced people.

UNHCR  strive to ensure that all people forced to flee have access to life-saving healthcare.

UNHCR work hard to help millions of people all over the world rebuild broken lives.

We are working with our teams globally to think of new innovative ways we can help ease the suffering caused by climate change on innocent people across the world. We highly encourage everyone to consider donating to the UN or similar organizations to help those most in need. You can donate by finding your country's local UNHCR site.

Respectfully,
